This position will require travel to various jobsites in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northwest Terrirories to ensure the high quality work that our customers are accustomed to.
Key Responsibilities
- Once trained, work independently with minimal supervision
- Complete material sampling and testing at a standard that will satisfy contract requirements and ensure proper quality control.
- Onsite document control.
- Test road construction materials, such as asphalt, concreate, pavement and aggregate.
- Ensure compliance with testing standards.
- lab set-up and tear down.
Qualifications | Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Prior experience working within a paving or construction company is an asset
Working Conditions
- Weather dependent schedule of Monday to Saturday, up to 12 hours per day and may consist of day and/or night shift. Overtime is paid in accordance with applicable employment standards.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50LBS on a regular basis.
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
