Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of operational HR support to management and employees
  • Draft employment agreements for new hires
  • Assists management team with recruitment support by conducting on-site interviews
  • Manages the onboarding process for all new hires
  • Respond to and follow up on employee inquires
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation,
  • Draft of HR policies and procedures
  • Drafts and distributes employee communications
  • Works management to coordinate annual performance and salary review processes
  • Assist with on-site Occupational Health & Safety activities
  • Updates and maintains employee files
  • Manage Temporary Foreign Worker program including LMIA applications and audit support
  • Post position advertisements, review, sort, and advise on applicant submissions
  • Conduct ongoing departmental training as required.
  • Spanish is an asset

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education relating to Human Resources and/or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years' progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist capacity
  • Experience working and thriving in a rapidly changing environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
  • Wage will be negotiated on experience

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including employee relations, performance & talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, and employment legislation
  • The ability to work independently and with minimal direction
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships of trust with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong focus on providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,018.74-$86,332.56 per year
