Position Overview:

If so, Paladin Security may be the right fit for you We are looking for friendly and confident Security Professionals to work at a variety of sites in Calgary and surrounding areas. Security Guards can work in different settings - this includes retail centers, high and low rise office buildings, as well as other commercial and residential sites. We are seeking reliable On-Call Security Guards to provide short-notice coverage at various sites in Calgary and surrounding areas. This role requires flexibility, prompt response times, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Remain available and responsive during assigned 12-hour on-call shiftsAnswer calls and respond within 10 minutesDeploy to assigned sites and arrive within 1 hour Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concernsAttend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedic resources Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reports Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s) Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities Handle Lost & Found items and inquire

Pay & Schedule

Guaranteed minimum: $120 per on-call shift ($10/hr for 12 hours)Site rate paid when deployedBi-weekly pay4 on / 4 off averaging arrangement19:00-07:00

Requirements

Reliable transportationAbility to travel within Calgary and surrounding areasMust accept deployments during on-call shiftsMinimum 8 hours' notice required to book off shifts Valid Security Licence

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED
