The role supports the maintenance and repair of facility systems and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include assisting with equipment setup and dismantling, performing scheduled maintenance, and addressing safety concerns. The position also involves the installation and upkeep of manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and general repairs.

The incumbent will prioritize tasks, conduct routine inspections, and assist with projects while maintaining grounds and adhering to company procedures. Flexibility to work at various locations and willingness to take on additional tasks are essential for supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficient in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of standard practices and procedures in construction trades, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems, is highly advantageous.
  • Capable of following both verbal and written instructions effectively.
  • Experienced in using power tools such as electric drills, circular saws, grinders, and lawn mowers.
  • Certification in forklift operation is a plus.
  • Proven experience in general building maintenance.
  • Able to read diagrams, schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Skilled in performing regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Competent in diagnosing problems and replacing or repairing parts as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
