Executive Assistant
We are recruiting an EA Superstar You will support the activities of the president and three colleagues who recruit doctors from overseas for positions in Canada. Compensation commensurate with our expectations.
Skills required
General:
Life experience and proven adaptability under deadlines.
Emotional intelligence, practical decision-making and ability to manage unpredictability.
Fast multi-tasker with excellent time management and ability to set priorities.
Strong ability to work independently while being an effective member of our team.
Good sense of humour, positive outlook, no-excuses type of person.
Specific:
Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, Google Sheets. Google Drive, Dropbox.
Ability to maintain complex spreadsheet reflecting client status.
Review incoming CV's and reply as appropriate.
Complete templates of contracts and send for signature.
Enter contacts into client management software.
Compile data for reports.
Excellent written and spoken English for preparing and proofreading documents.
Schedule and confirm interview appointments for candidates.
Maintain mailing lists and coordinate with mail house.
Support for planning international conference attendance.
Ability to understand and use some medical terminology.
Diplomatic and tactful when working with clients.
Research articles for website and social media.
Mundane miscellaneous office duties, as required.
Preferred skills:
Basic SEO and AI understanding.
Office equipment troubleshooting.
Education:
College level – in business, journalism, law, accounting, or engineering studies.
Experience:
Five years minimum of verifiable employment.
Valid driver's licence and reliable car.
Hours:
Full time (35 hours a week) – office based and on rare occasions after-hours.
Some overseas travel may be required with colleagues – negotiated terms.
Two weeks of vacation in first year, plus stat holidays.
Extended health and dental benefits after 90 days.
Based in Vic West
Compensation:
$55 per hour = $100,100 per year
