Job Overview:

  • Perform maintenance support for the Atikokan mechanical maintenance crew.
  • Perform project support for mechanical projects at the Atikokan station. Includes project initiation reports, technical specifications and technical assistance as needed.
  • Perform asset management activities for the Atikokan station including life extension for equipment.
  • Provide support for the Operations group at the Atikokan station. This includes writing procedures and advising on the operation of various equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) license in the province of Ontario is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a Power Plant or Manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate should have experience at a Power Plant at the Engineering Level.
  • Must be familiar with relevant Canadian Codes and standards including TSSA Regulations.
