Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and helping students succeed, with the ability to adapt to various learning styles. Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions across various subjects based on student needs.
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence and engagement
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement
  • Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
  • Support students in developing study skills, time management, and exam preparation strategies

Experience

  • Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or classroom instruction is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
  • Experience working with children or adolescents is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with educational tools and resources to enhance learning experiences
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
