Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant based in Regina, SK. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing compassionate patient care, performing physical examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, and assisting with treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physician. Daily tasks include patient consultations, compiling and maintaining accurate medical records, educating patients on preventative care strategies, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality, integrated care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Clinical skills such as performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans
  • Interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
  • Commitment to patient care and disease prevention, with a focus on health education
  • Qualifications: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent, certification through an accredited Physician Assistant program, and licensure in Saskatchewan
  • Adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills
  • Experience in holistic or integrative medicine is an asset
  • BLS/ACLS certification is preferred
