As a Repair Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining a proper balance between the profitability of the company, supporting the collision shop and the achievement of total customer satisfaction. The Repair Planner may handle communication with the adjuster and customer regarding repairs and repair status of the vehicle.

A day in the life of a Repair Planner at Collision Repair Experts:- Handle all appraisals, repair orders, supplements, and warranties.
- Ensure ongoing communication with adjuster, production staff and customer service reps.
- Work to resolve any customer concerns or dissatisfaction.
- Maintain complete knowledge and comply with company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.
- Cultivate a positive working relationship with team members and management.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to comply with all health & safety procedures.
- Communicate and document repair status to customers and insurance companies.
- Other related tasks as required.
- High school or college automotive body repair diploma
- At least 1 year of direct experience in a similar role combined with 1-2 years in an estimator role
- A complete understanding of the day to day collision repair duties including estimating, production scheduling and meeting deadlines
- Familiarity with insurance repair procedures and guidelines
- Possess a valid drivers' license.
- Familiarity with insurance repair procedures and guidelines
- Solid Mitchell Cloud Estimating and Connect skills
- Computer Skills - MS Office applications, Outlook, Estimating Software
