Summary
We are seeking a Collision Damage Appraiser/Repair Planner to join our dynamic team at CSN St. Clair, Sarnia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing vehicle damage and setting the stage for a blueprint for repair.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate vehicle damage and prepare detailed repair estimates and send final bills to Insurance Companies upon completion.
- Research and provide repair procedures to technicians to determine necessary repairs.
- Communicate effectively with customers keeping them informed of repair progress.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the appraisal process.
- Take ongoing training (provided) to stay updated on industry trends and repair techniques.
Qualifications Proven experience as an auto appraiser or similar role in the automotive industry.
- A background in the automotive field would be beneficial.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with front office staff and a team of technicians.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Customer Service experience is an asset.
