Nail Technician Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and body waxing, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance the client experience.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and products sold.

Requirements

  • Valid Nail Technician license as required by state regulations.
  • Proven experience in nail care, body waxing, and customer service.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to maintain sanitation standards in a busy salon environment.
  • Experience in retail sales is a plus, with an ability to upsell products confidently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
