• 8:00AM - 12:00PM (Location: Old Tuxedo)
  
• 8:00AM - 5:00PM: Must have a valid class 5 Full driver's license and a vehicle (Locations: Morning - Downtown & Afternoon - Jefferson)

We are seeking fun, energetic, enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to learn, discover and explore As a tutor, you will be an integral part of a team, working one-on-one with children and families, teaching meaningful skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. This opportunity, taking place in a community setting: childcare centre, family home or a St.Amant classroom location, encourages creativity and play, inspiring both yourself and the child you are supporting to find joy in learning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification

Assets:

• Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
• Previous experience as a tutor in a supervised applied behaviour analysis (ABA) program
• Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD
• Knowledge of the philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities

As a Condition of Employment, new hires must complete a series of Occupational Health checks. This includes the requirement to confirm immunization or immunity of specific communicable diseases. Must be Covid-19 Vaccinated (2 doses and 14 days) - able to provide proof of immunization is required.
