Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shop Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to follow instructions and have the ability to stay on task, completing jobs in a timely and professional matter.

  • Shipping/ receiving and inventory duties
  • Clean and organize shop and exterior work areas
  • Pick-up/ deliver parts as needed
  • Paint engine components
  • Assist mechanics as needed
  • Assist welders as needed
  • Shop dump runs and metal recycling duties

Experience

  • Ability to back up a truck and trailer
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to use a forklift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
