About the Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for strategic and operational oversight to ensure delivery of quality programs and services, and support governance and fund development activities. In alignment with the Board's strategic direction, the Executive Director is responsible for fundraising (with support from the Board and staff), team oversight, financial management, and administrative operations required to support and deliver quality programs, services, and initiatives. The Executive Director advances community, government, and sector relations to build increasing capacity and funding in alignment with the organization mission, business strategies, and policies.
 
This is an incredible term opportunity for an agile, vision-driven leader who has a deep respect for the diverse perspectives and needs of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ARC Foundation and have the leadership abilities to deliver across strategy, human resources, finance, fund development, community relations, and governance. This successful candidate will have an intersectional lens and the interpersonal skills required to effectively support opportunities across relationships and services. The preferred candidate will bring a combination of education, training, and senior management experience including relating to 2SLGBTQ+ education and non-profit leadership. The ideal candidate will also have confidence and experience working with a wide range of social groups, intersectional perspectives, and Reconciliation initiatives. Bilingual (English and French) preferred.

À propos du poste
Relevant du conseil d'administration, la direction générale est chargé de la supervision stratégique et opérationnelle afin de garantir la prestation de programmes et de services de qualité, et de soutenir les activités de gouvernance et de développement des fonds. Conformément à l'orientation stratégique du conseil d'administration, la direction générale est responsable de la collecte de fonds (avec le soutien du conseil d'administration et du personnel), de la supervision de l'équipe, de la gestion financière et des opérations administratives nécessaires pour soutenir et fournir des programmes, des services et des initiatives de qualité. La direction générale favorise les relations avec la communauté, le gouvernement et le secteur afin de renforcer les capacités et le financement, conformément à la mission, aux stratégies commerciales et aux politiques de l'organisation.
 
Il s'agit d'une opportunité exceptionnelle pour une personne agile et visionnaire, qui respecte profondément la diversité des perspectives et des besoins de la communauté 2SLGBTQ+. La candidature retenue démontrera une solide compréhension de la Fondation ARC et possédera les compétences en leadership nécessaires pour mener à bien des projets dans les domaines de la stratégie, des ressources humaines, des finances, du développement des fonds, des relations communautaires et de la gouvernance. Une vision intersectionnelle ainsi que de solides compétences interpersonnelles seront mises de l'avant pour soutenir efficacement les opportunités liées aux relations et aux services.La candidature idéale possédera une formation, une expérience et des compétences en gestion de haut niveau, notamment dans le domaine de l'éducation 2SLGBTǪ+ et de la direction d'organisations à but non lucratif. Une assurance professionnelle et une expérience démontrée dans le travail avec un large éventail de groupes sociaux, de perspectives intersectionnelles et d'initiatives de réconciliation seront également des atouts. La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français, à l'oral comme à l'écrit, est fortement souhaitée.
