Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed and Registered Architect with the authority to stamp architectural drawings in Canada. This role involves leading design development, overseeing technical documentation, and ensuring code compliance for a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stamp and seal architectural drawings for permit submissions and construction.
  • Lead project design from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and clients.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable building codes, regulations, and zoning bylaws.
  • Provide construction administration and site review services as needed.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to design critiques.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and registered architect in a Canadian province (OAA, AIBC, AAA, etc.).
  • Legally authorized to stamp architectural drawings in Canada.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of post-license experience in architectural practice.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (or relevant provincial code).
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
  • Experience across multiple project types preferred.
