We provide services in commercial, industrial and residential applications and we are seeking a sales representative to add to our team for commercial and industrial division.

Role Description

This role is for a full-time Sales Representative located in Mississauga, ON (and beyond for areas we service). The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, working through company provided leads and providing technical sales expertise tailored to customer needs. Additional responsibilities include preparing quotes, negotiating contracts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, maintaining knowledge of company products, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a self motivated individual, that can work independently and is interested in growing with our company. Sales leads will be given but this applicant will be expected to generate sales opportunities via networking, cold calling, cold email and sector targeting. This hybrid role consists of time in the office and on the road visiting customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with new and existing customers
  • Maintain leads and follow ups
  • Quote new work and repairs in a timely fashion
  • Schedule sales appointments and site meetings
  • Generate new customers and expand the current customer base
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Work on targeting new customers and industries
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings
  • Sales targeting and reporting

Qualifications

  • Sales and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Technical sales knowledge and expertise in overhead doors and related products
  • Self starter and motivated individual
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Urgency and customer focus
  • Ability to asses customers needs and complete detailed take off that will turn into quotations and jobs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel within the GTA and surrounding areas as required
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Experience within the overhead door industry
