Software QA Analyst

Location: St. John's, NL | Type: Full-time, Permanent

At ClearRisk, we build software that helps organizations reduce risk and make better decisions. We're looking for an experienced QA Analyst who's passionate about ensuring that quality runs through every step of our product lifecycle. You'll combine hands-on testing with automation development and play a key role in helping our engineering and implementation teams deliver reliable, high-performing software.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases for product features and integrations
  • Expand and maintain our automation framework (with emphasis on Playwright)
  • Verify functionality, usability, performance, and security before releases
  • Collaborate with implementation/onboarding teams to validate real-world configurations
  • Identify, document, and communicate issues clearly and constructively
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in testing tools, processes, and documentation

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of QA experience, including both manual and automated testing
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer)
  • Experience with AI-enabled testing tools or interest in emerging technologies for automation
  • Understanding of API testing, CI/CD, and modern development workflows
  • Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and SaaS applications
  • Experience with Salesforce would be an asset
  • A curious, analytical mindset and passion for building confidence in the software you test
  • ISTQB certification or similar credentials are an asset
  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
