Duties

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary support and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
  • Experience in a dental office setting preferred; familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse patient populations.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on building rapport with patients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
