We are currently seeking a dynamic Product Demo Specialist to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.

You would act as a product demo specialist to join our team in Burnaby  The successful candidate will help to lead cross-product sales integration efforts, to enable simple demonstrations of multiple products & solutions, as well as expanded training labs and customer simulation environments.  The role requires excellent communication skills and will be required to engage with many teams including R&D, FortiStack, QA, Sales, Partners and more, to build new environments, perform hands-on validation and launch them to the Technical Sales and Partner community. 

The successful candidate will join the Product Management team, and specialize in Solution demonstration environments, which will encompass multiple products (Security, Analytics, SIEM, SOAR, etc.). These environments will be used for sales demos, customer engagements, SE and Partner training (labs), as well as gamification of hands-on-training. The projects involve hands-on learning and using the latest new security and related technologies across the portfolio. Successful candidate will also work with FortiStack team to manage and migrate existing and future demo types and usages from public cloud to Fortinet Private Cloud. 

As a Product Demo Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Computer Networking Fundamentals and TCP/IP
  • knowledge in Public or private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMWare, KVM, OpenStack, etc.)
  • Knowledge of configuring and implementing technical security solutions (Firewalls, IPS, Antivirus, Antispam, etc.)
  • Knowledge in Linux and scripting using Python and other scripting languages. Strong DevOps skills is plus.
  • Knowledge in Security Operations framework, threat hunting and understanding of hacking techniques will be a plus
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and professionalism
  • Self-motivated, Willingness to learn, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize task and multi-task
  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $90,000- $95,000 annually.  Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.  Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
