Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced diesel equipment mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair a variety of machinery that includes tractors, balers, disc and rotary mowers, skid steers, pay loaders and excavators. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The mechanic will ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and safely. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Relevant experience is mandatory.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Must have strong computerized diagnostic skills.

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
