Overview:
We are currently hiring a part time Cleaner for a warehouse in Whitby.
General Warehouse Cleaning:
- Collect and remove garbage and recycling from bins throughout the warehouse and designated areas.
- Relining of bins as required.
- Breaking down cardboard boxes and disposing of them.
- Sweeping under racking.
- Spot clean walls, doors, and other high-traffic surfaces as needed.
Light Office Cleaning (as required):
- Occasional cleaning of small office areas or break rooms.
- Wipe down touchpoints, empty bins, and tidy surfaces.
Requirements:
- Must have steel toed shoes/boots
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with high attention to safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable and physically capable of handling repetitive tasks and equipment.
- Minimum of 3 years commercial cleaning experience.
