  • Work closely with peer program managers to ensure consistency across portfolios.
  • Prioritize the development cycle and effectively implement program enhancements to meet Plan investment, energy-savings and cost-effective objectives and report against the progress.
  • Support regulatory filings with the B.C. Utilities Commission and respond to any intervenor requests relating to commercial and industrial activities.
  • Develop competitive bidding contracts, legal contracts and terms and conditions in conjunction with procurement and legal departments.

What it takes:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of five (5) years of recent, related experience.
  • Previous experience delivering and communicating Demand Side Management programs would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of natural gas and electrical energy systems in commercial and industrial facilities and experience working in a regulated utility would be an asset.
  • A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) designation, engineering or technical experience preferred, but not required.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
