StyleDemocracy is a leading Sample + Warehouse Sale event management company, specializing in top global fashion brands.

Job Overview:

We are seeking General Staff Contractors to support our upcoming Warehouse Sale in Vancouver at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver, BC, V6C 0C3. As a contractor, you will assist with various event and retail tasks, including sorting merchandise, assisting customers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sorting and merchandising products during setup.
  • Assist with sorting and merchandising products during the event.
  • Replenishing product.
  • Sorting through putbacks.
  • Sizing product.
  • Serve as cashiers, floor, back of house, front of house staff as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to attendees.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
  • Keeping the floor clean.
  • Collecting hangers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous event or retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation to the event venue.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday January 27: 8am-11pm
  • Wednesday January 28: 8am-10pm
  • Thursday January 29: 8am-10pm
  • Friday January 30: 8am-10pm
  • Saturday January 31: 8am-8pm
  • Sunday February 1: 8am-11pm

Important Notes:

  • This is NOT a full-time job - it is only for the hours of operations listed above.
  • People with full time availability for these hours will be prioritized
  • Hours are 12 hour shifts daily
  • Payment made via direct deposit within one business week of the conclusion of the event
