Director Corporate Financial and Regulatory Reporting

What you will do

  • Support AVP Corporate Financial and Regulatory Reporting to lead the quarterly Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) process
  • Collaborate with segment management, investor relations, accounting policy, and financial reporting teams to ensure disclosures are concise and value-added while compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and support the communication of complex issues with senior management, internal stakeholders, and potentially eternal regulators
  • Liaise with FP&A and financial reporting teams to complete quarterly Supplemental Information Package
  • Coach and mentor team members, developing them to be future leaders

What you will bring

  • Extensive understanding and experience with IFRS and continuous disclosure requirements
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge with SAP and Workiva a strong asset
  • Adequate knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting
  • Knowledge and experience with regulatory filings a strong asset
  • Experience with coaching and leading a team
  • CPA designation is required

The base salary for this position is between $102,300 - $187,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
