Director Corporate Financial and Regulatory Reporting
What you will do
- Support AVP Corporate Financial and Regulatory Reporting to lead the quarterly Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) process
- Collaborate with segment management, investor relations, accounting policy, and financial reporting teams to ensure disclosures are concise and value-added while compliant with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and support the communication of complex issues with senior management, internal stakeholders, and potentially eternal regulators
- Liaise with FP&A and financial reporting teams to complete quarterly Supplemental Information Package
- Coach and mentor team members, developing them to be future leaders
What you will bring
- Extensive understanding and experience with IFRS and continuous disclosure requirements
- Strong organizational and project management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge with SAP and Workiva a strong asset
- Adequate knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting
- Knowledge and experience with regulatory filings a strong asset
- Experience with coaching and leading a team
- CPA designation is required
The base salary for this position is between $102,300 - $187,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
