Summary:
Exeter Golf Club and the Barn Restaurant are looking for fun and energetic employees with strong work ethics and a love for the service industry. Our customer's first and last impression of the facility will depend on how they are treated by our staff. A server is an integral part of a dynamic hospitality team. The server position ensures a positive dining experience by greeting guests, taking/serving orders, managing payments, and coordinating with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve food and beverages in all areas of the golf course and clubhouse
  • Provide service for banquet events including weddings, corporate functions, and tournaments
  • Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and process payments correctly
  • Assist with daily cleaning, stocking, and minor food preparation
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the daily operations of the clubhouse

Qualifications:

  • Smart Serve Certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Is of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario
  • Previous serving experience (preferred but not required)
  • Able to communicate and work well with team members
  • Reliable transportation is required

Working Conditions:

  • Bending, balance, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), extended periods of standing
  • Working weekends and holidays will be required
