This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You'll perform hands-on tasks in various departments to ensure client expectations are met accurately and on time. This position involves cross-training and assisting in multiple areas, including Receiving, Projects (assembly), Picking, and Packaging.The DutiesUse appropriate equipment for order selection, including voice-picking headsets and RF scannersFollow spoken instructions via voice picking system to locate and pick items accuratelyPerform quality checks to ensure accuracy and meet client expectationsPackage orders according to client specificationPackage orders as specified by the client, ensuring the finished product will meet customers' expectationsMeet productivity expectations while performing tasks efficiently and accuratelyLoad and restock production lines (conveyors and packaging machines) with productsPerform inventory maintenance, including cycle counts on pick locations, as assignedManually lift and handle cartons of product, sorting and rebuilding skids as requiredUnload inbound shipments safely and efficiently (manually or using lifting devices such as pump truck, walkie, forklift) and stage shipment in the receiving area information (e.g. product number, quantity, expiry date, lot numbers)Follow health & safety procedures to maintain a safe work environmentBe flexible and willing to cross-train in different departments, assist with other tasks as neededAssist with other tasks as neededThe Ideal CandidateEssential to Have:Prior experience using RF scanner and voice-picking systemAbility to lift or move 50lbs/23 kg regularly throughout the shiftAbility to stand, bend, stoop and stretch ongoing throughout the day to accomplish tasksDemonstrated commitment to health and safety practicesWillingness to learn with a positive a can-do attitude Please note: This position requires full-time availability.
