Packaging and Production Operators

Our business is growing and we are currently looking for 6 people to join our exciting and dynamic Operations team

We currently operate 5 days a week and are looking to hire part time staff for weekends and evenings. We are hiring people for the following shifts:

Mon- Fri (Part-time) Afternoon shift - 3pm-11pm, Saturday and Sunday (Part-Time) Day shift - 7am -3pm.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safe and responsible operation of industrial food production equipment
• Accurately processing ingredients in batches according to Nuts for Cheese recipes, policies and procedures.
• Work with other team members to complete all production processes.
• Lifting up to 50lbs including boxes of ingredients, WIP, equipment parts, and pails.
• Other various tasks depending on daily facility needs.
• Effectively communicating with all team members.
• Ensuring all paperwork for the assigned daily tasks is correct and complete.
• Safely using GHS controlled substances by wearing all required PPE and following all safety policies and procedures determined by the OHSA and by our Health and Safety Program.
• Ensuring the storage of ingredients and products is organized, efficient, and safe.
• Responsible for maintaining and cleaning areas according to company policies, HACCP, GMP's and SOP's.

Experience and skills required:

· Experience in industrial food production is preferred

· An attention to detail is essential

· Strong organization and time management skills are valued

· Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

· Must be an effective communicator and have good interpersonal skills

· Candidate should have a strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow within the company

· We are always looking for high-energy self-starters who enjoy multi-tasking and can quickly adapt to changing priorities
