On-Call Snow

Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable On-Call Snow Maintenance Technician (evenings and weekends) to support winter operations at a commercial building in Headingley. This role also includes occasional miscellaneous maintenance tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• On-call snow removal and ice control during winter weather events
• Sand and salt application as necessary
• Ability to operate equipment such as a skid steer would be considered an asset
• Performing basic miscellaneous maintenance tasks at the commercial property
• Monitoring and reporting basic building system issues (HVAC, lighting, doors, etc.)
• Communicating clearly with supervisors regarding site conditions and completed work
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Qualifications

• Experience operating a skid steer or similar equipment
• Knowledge of basic building systems and general maintenance
• English communication is considered an asset but not required
• Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
• Good work ethic and ability to respond on short notice and after-hours/weekends during snow events
