**Excavator Operator**

The Excavation Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and moving all heavy and light-duty equipment and services operating heavy-duty equipment and vacuum trucks, as well as complying with all safety regulations and procedures. This position is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, weekends and evenings are required on a rotation basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Setting up equipment for daily use
- Maintaining equipment and machinery to operate safely
- Maintaining and understanding the operating procedures of the machines
- Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
- Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
- Previous experience on skid steer and/or excavator
- Snow removal in the winter season

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Class 5 driver’s license
- Previous experience operating Forklift
- Previous experience as a truck driver. Septic/vacuum truck driver experience is an asset
- Provide driver's abstract and criminal check. Drug testing may be required
- Must be available and willing to work on-call
- Able to understand, speak, read, write, and communicate in English and follow instructions.
- Ability to work walking, using hands, bending, and up to 60 lbs. lifting required
- Own transportation as there is no bus service to our site

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
