We're looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Alberta and contribute to our cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems for energy projects, including renewable energy solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis, simulations, and calculations to ensure the technical feasibility and efficiency of electrical designs.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and contractors, to integrate electrical systems into large-scale projects.
  • Ensure that electrical designs meet all relevant codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, solving electrical issues that arise during the design, testing, and operational phases.
  • Play a key role in project planning, ensuring timelines, scope, and budgets are adhered to.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, such as schematics, reports, and specifications.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and integrate emerging technologies into designs where possible.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in Alberta (AB).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the energy or utility sectors.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with renewable energy systems is an advantage.
