Overview

Our office is growing. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a compassionate individual who is eager to contribute to a positive patient experience and has a strong understanding of dental practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Provide chairside assistance, including suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient comfort.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using dental software.
  • Manage sterilization of instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care, including insurance verification and processing.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must.
  • Proficient in terminology related to dentistry.
  • Knowledge of dental software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Certification in Dental Assisting.
