Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team in Central Newfoundland. Although our location is in Grand Falls - Windsor, our service area includes Springdale to Gander with all points in between.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning, construction, and/or restoration processes. This role is essential in helping clients recover from damage caused by water, fire, or other disasters, ensuring properties are restored to their original condition. The Restoration Technician will work with various hand and power tools to perform restoration tasks effectively and efficiently.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough cleaning and restoration of affected areas following industry standards and protocols.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out restoration tasks, including demolition, repair, and reconstruction as needed.
  • Assess damage and determine appropriate restoration methods while maintaining safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality guidelines.
  • Document work performed and communicate progress to supervisors and clients as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in restoration techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration work is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in restoration projects.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of the job.
