We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook with experience in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will support daily kitchen operations, ensure high-quality food preparation, and contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards and recipes.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Assist in daily food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
  • Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Support the Head Chef with menu preparations and special dishes as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and overall kitchen area.
  • Monitor stock levels for your station and report shortages to kitchen management.

Skills

  • Proven experience working as a Line Cook, preferably in Indian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of basic cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with chefs and service staff.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining quality and consistency in every dish.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.70-$27.20 per hour
