St Thomas, Ontario, Canada Therm-O-Comfort Co. Ltd. Full time

Therm-O-Comfort is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfill the role of Production Supervisor within the manufacturing field. Therm-O-Comfort has been in business since 1977 and has a great team of valued employees to work alongside.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production activities based on delivery schedule and customer requirements.
  • Supervise quality control activities and ensure quality objectives and customer expectations are met.
  • Troubleshoot and operate automated equipment.
  • Participate in production rotation when required.
  • Ensure an adequate inventory of raw materials is available to meet production requirements and forecasts.
  • Supervise and inspect the off-loading of raw materials.
  • Train and supervise employees in accordance with company and occupational health and safety policies.
  • Health and Safety Management, completing monthly walk arounds, maintaining PPE supplies inventory, and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Various reports- daily production reports, creating/ revising standard operating.
  • procedures, carrying out non-conformances and corrective actions, issuing work orders.

Qualifications:

  • SSGD or higher with supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industrial controls experience. Mut be able to troubleshoot and manage automated equipment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and correspond both verbally and in writing.
  • MS Office- must be proficient working with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to complete reports, analyze data and troubleshoot.

Other Requirements:

  • Certified Forklift, Skid Steer and Aerial Device Operator
  • Workplace Inspection, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS
  • First Aid Certificate

Job Type: Full-time
