Akelius is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multi-family apartment buildings.

The Property Manager will be directly responsible for effectively managing these buildings, while maintaining an excellent relationship with its residents and staff.

The successful individual will have a strong desire for creating extraordinary experiences of home and community while exceeding resident satisfaction.

address tenant concerns in a timely and professional mannerperform regular property and unit inspections, addressing deficiencies promptlyissue legal forms and notices, representation at Landlord and Tenant Board hearingsmaintain positive and professional relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholdersorganize move-in/out inspectionsnegotiate and manage service contractshire and manage maintenance technicians and onsite personnelcontribute to the overall development of processes and procedures in the Property Management departmentrespond to emergencies after hours and on weekends, as per business needsperform other duties as assignedwho you arebachelor's degree is requireddegree focus in Business Administration, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field is preferred   three plus years of experience as residential property managersuperior organizational skills superior interpersonal and communication skillsresourceful, able to confidently make decisionshigh attention to detail, able to effectively manage competing tasksexcellent working knowledge of the RTA and the landlord/tenant relationshipstrong understanding of building systemsproven ability to lead a team of maintenance technicians and onsite staffability to maintain focus in a constantly changing environmentstrong command of the English languageability to respond to daytime and after-hour emergenciesproficient use of MS Office, Yardi Voyager application software property Management certifications considered an assethow to apply
