Job Overview

We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated Receptionist–Beautician to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will be the welcoming face of the spa while also delivering high-quality nail care and selected beauty services. You will greet clients, manage appointments, handle daily communication, and ensure smooth operations at the front desk. Alongside reception duties, you will provide manicure, pedicure, and basic beauty treatments that leave clients feeling polished and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service, administrative skills, and hands-on beauty expertise in a lively spa environment.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly, check them in and out, and guide them through their visit

Manage appointment scheduling using our booking software and handle client inquiries by phone, email, and in person

Perform nail care services including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application

Provide additional basic beauty treatments where trained, such as simple facials, brow shaping, or light skincare consultations

Maintain a clean, organized reception area and beauty workstation following health and safety standards

Handle payments, issue receipts, process gift certificates, and manage daily cash-out procedures

Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering suitable product or service recommendations

Keep accurate records of appointments, client preferences, and product usage

Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, inventory checks, and order tracking

Stay updated on nail-care trends, product innovations, and customer service best practices

Skills

Experience as a receptionist, beautician, nail technician, or similar customer-facing role

Strong communication skills with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere

Proficient computer skills including comfort with appointment-booking software, email, online calendars, and data entry

Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally

Competent nail-care skills with a focus on cleanliness, precision, and attention to detail

Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple appointments and tasks smoothly

High level of accuracy in maintaining client records and administrative notes

Ability to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining top-quality service

Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to support a diverse clientele

Previous office or front-desk experience is an advantage, including filing, payments, and general clerical support
