Position Summary

apetito Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Administrator to manage the accurate processing of inventory and production transactions within our ERP system. Reporting to the Materials Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring timely and precise execution of activities such as material picking, consumption, and output recording to support manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will maintain data integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow and compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Processing & System Accuracy

  • Execute and validate ERP transactions for material picking, consumption, and finished goods output.
  • Ensure production orders are closed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory.

2. Inventory Data Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Generate and review transaction reports for compliance and performance tracking.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Communicate transaction issues and coordinate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, production administration, or ERP transaction processing.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and inventory processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related discipline preferred.
