Our client a global leader in solid-liquid separation technologies, delivering innovative engineered solutions to the minerals processing, industrial, and water treatment sectors, is seeking an experienced
Technical Sales Manager
to drive business development, expand market share, and support customers across Canada.
The Technical Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies, manage client requirements, and grow the company's footprint across key regions. This role blends technical expertise with commercial leadership, requiring someone skilled in equipment sizing, specification, tendering, laboratory/pilot testwork, and on-site commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across Canada, meeting revenue and market share targets
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships
- Manage pipeline, tenders, RFQs, and forecasting
- Conduct technical product presentations and attend industry conferences
- Perform laboratory and pilot plant testwork
- Compile technical reports for equipment sizing, specification, and costing
- Conduct plant audits and optimization reviews
- Support equipment commissioning and performance acceptance
- Work with internal engineering, contracts, marketing, and business development teams
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy / Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years experience in mineral processing equipment sales
- Expertise in solid–liquid separation technologies
- Strong commercial acumen with hands-on plant experience
- Ability to travel and work on remote sites when required
