An exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering or Design Manager to join one of the most respected names in global packaging—a company known for delivering custom engineered solutions to some of the biggest and most demanding organizations in the world.

This is the perfect role for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership journey, overseeing a high performing team of global designers, coordinating major engineering centers, and acting as the bridge between operations, sales and engineering.

Our client is a global powerhouse in the packaging space, operating in over 38 countries. They're in rapid expansion mode, actively acquiring companies around the world to stay at the cutting edge of packaging innovation. As part of this growth, they're looking to bring on a high-caliber Engineering or Design Manager to lead from the front and make a real impact across the Americas.

In this role you'll take ownership of engineering resources across Canada, the US, Mexico and Brazil, ensuring the right people are in the right place with the tools and training to succeed. You'll be working closely with internal stakeholders and high-profile customers, solving challenges and driving delivery in a fast-paced global environment.

This role will suit either a Design Manager or Engineering Manager from a packaging background, with a proven track record of managing multiple engineering teams. Experience with CAD software and data management systems is essential to understand and support the challenges your team will face.

• Manage regional design and engineering teams primarily through indirect reports


• Step in when local managers are unavailable


• Support advanced engineering centers and contribute to steering committees


• Lead or support hiring, training and resource planning


• Oversee implementation of tools and software in line with ISO standards


• Coordinate closely with sales operations and other global teams

The Person:


• Design Manager or Engineering Manager background


• Packaging or closely related industry experience


• Proven ability to manage multiple design or engineering teams
