Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our moving team. This role is ideal for individuals who own their own truck/ Sprinter Van and are looking to leverage their time & driving skills in a dynamic environment. The Owner Operator Driver and mover will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes within GTA
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery status.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Operate forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) CGL (Commercial General Liability) & CVOR
  • Familiarity with relocation, residential move, commercial move and heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Experience in relocation and moving service is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair to handle minor maintenance tasks.
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • Cantonese speaking is a plus.
