Reporting to the HR Director and working collaboratively with HR colleagues and business leaders, this role provides hands-on HR operational support across the employee lifecycle. The HR Advisor is also a critical contributor to people data, reporting, and analytics—supporting workforce insights, compensation reporting, and HR decision-making through accurate, timely, and meaningful data.

This role is well suited to an HR professional who enjoys balancing operational delivery with data-driven insights, thrives in a collaborative, fast paced environment, and is looking to continue developing across the full scope of HR operations while diving into data.

  • Produce standard and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards, including workforce metrics, headcount, turnover, and demographic insights

  • Support people reporting and compensation-related analysis, including salary reviews, organizational changes, and workforce planning cycles

  • Draft and administer employment-related correspondence such as role changes, leaves of absence, and terminations

  • Administer and track leave of absence processes, including coordination with benefits providers for STD and LTD case management

  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and coaching leaders on HR best practices

  • Coordinate and support the annual performance management cycle, including communications, training, and Workday processes

  • Maintain HR content, policies, guides, and process documentation on the corporate intranet

  • Partner with HR Service Desk, Payroll, Talent, and business leaders to ensure consistent, efficient HR service delivery

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through HR data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll bring

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years' experience in an HR, administrative, or coordination role with exposure to people data and reporting

  • Strong working knowledge of an HRIS (Workday preferred), including reporting functionality

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data, reports, and dashboards

  • Demonstrated experience supporting people analytics, workforce reporting, and compensation analysis

  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with employees, leaders, and HR partners

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
