We are seeking a skilled Sheet metal worker / Installer /Press Break Operator. As sheet metal worker, you will be responsible for cutting, forming, shaping and installing metal sheets according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fabrication and installations who is looking to contribute their skills to a dynamic working environment.

TIG Welding experience is a must. $$

Stainless steel fabrication experience is a must $$.

This is a 2 part position. 50% in the shop fabricating and 50% in the field completing installations. Any kind of sheet metal experience is mandatory. Will provide training for installation.

Shop Fabricator:

Duties

- Use a metal shear, grinder, cut off disk and other power tools to crate parts. Use a hydraulic press break to bend and form sheets into parts.

- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the correct specifications for each job

- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow

Qualifications

- Previous sheet metal experience is required - Min 2 years

- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Familiarity with tools and equipment such as grinder, metal shear, press break, etc

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy

- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate a forklift if necessary

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues

- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Shop location is just east of Chestermere, AB

Installer:

An installer will use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, circ saw, grinder, table saw, etc to professionally install the interiors to high quality standards.

Installers work in team of twos, with a van and all the required tools provided.

Installations are in Calgary and Edmonton.

Abilities / Skills: must be able to read a tape measure. Knows general work safe practices and general installation knowledge.

Requirements:

Canadian Citizenship; Driver's License with 3 years clean abstract, 3 years own auto insurance; Own vehicle; Consent to background check; English; Good physical and metal health.

We design, manufacture, install, service and maintain all types of elevator interiors from the very basic to the most elaborate. Our business is a mixture of industries, such as sheet metal, welding, glazing, finished carpentry, cabinet making, engineering and interior design.
