Our Opportunity:

District Manager – 1 year Contract Position

Objective:

Currently looking for a District Manager, based in Moncton to lead and inspire our teams in New Brunswick and PEI.

As a District Manager, your role is to ensure a strong focus on training, coaching and development, customer satisfaction and hiring and succession planning. You will be responsible to maximize store sales and effectively manage wage cost through strategic business management. Your role supervises 5 store locations, 4 stores in NB and 1 store in PEI; travel is required to provide support and direction to your Management teams.

Duties:

· Ensure stores meet the sales plan and effectively utilize available resources to maximize business opportunities

· Ensure maximum productivity while maintaining excellent standards of customer service by all team members

· A proven retailer, with an eye for fashion and an ability to identify, assess and capitalize on growth opportunities

An excellent merchandiser who can activate a store, make sure it is inviting to customers and that all markdowns and promotions are set up to company standards

· A strong knowledge of loss prevention procedures and a commitment to protecting company assets

· Ensure recruitment/hiring decisions are made with a sense of urgency and a commitment to hiring the best talent

· Consistent and effective coaching and training to maximize store team performance with clear succession plans in place

· Ensure stores meet all merchandising standards, through consistent follow up, training, and guidance

-Above all, inspire your teams to achieve their personal goals as well as to meet company performance expectations

Do you have what it takes?

· Multi- unit retail management experience

· A minimum of 3+ years' experience as a manager in a high-volume/flagship store and/or as an area manager supervising at least 3 stores

· Strong leadership skills with a hand-on approach

· Proven success achieving sales

· A highly competitive drive to be the top performer

· A determined mentor who blends having fun with a passion for being the top performing area

· A "Make it Happen" attitude

· Willingness to travel. Car is required
