Role Summary
We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and secure new security contracts. This role offers excellent earning potential through our unique compensation model combining guaranteed monthly salary with 10% of profits from new business you generate.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify and research potential clients across target industries
- Build pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals
- Attend industry events and trade shows
Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, event coordinators
Sales & Contract Acquisition
Conduct client needs assessments and site evaluations
- Prepare and present compelling service proposals
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing
- Close deals and secure signed agreements
Respond to RFPs and tender opportunities
Relationship Management
Maintain ongoing relationships with prospects and clients
- Follow up consistently on proposals and quotes
- Build network of industry contacts and referral sources
Represent company at networking events and industry functions
Sales Administration
Track all activities in CRM system
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
- Coordinate with operations team for service delivery
- Ensure smooth handoff of new contracts to operations
Target Industries
- Commercial real estate and office buildings
- Retail centers and shopping malls
- Construction and development projects
- Event venues and special events
- Industrial facilities and warehouses
- Residential communities and condominiums
- Healthcare facilities
- Educational institutions
QualificationsRequired:
- 2+ years experience in B2B sales or business development
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred:
- Experience in security, facilities management, or related services
- Existing network in target industries
- Knowledge of security industry regulations
- CRM software experience
- Post-secondary education in business or related field
Compensation Package: Monthly Base Salary$4,000 - $5,500 (based on experience)Profit Share 10% of monthly net profits from new contracts you secure.
