Our Toronto Location:

Amidst the timeless charm of Toronto's Fashion District, AIRE finds its home in a historic Edwardian Classicism building, once the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company. Built in 1912 and later designated a heritage site, its original wood structure and towering pillars remain, preserving the character of its storied past that once held the art of printing and now embraces the art of relaxation.

Honoring its literary and industrial past, the space is adorned with vintage books, printing presses which are subtle echoes of its history. AIRE Toronto offers a unique experience with a dry sauna and a Palestra, an indoor/outdoor bath area seamlessly connected to the interior through two jet baths, creating a tranquil escape where past and present merge in perfect harmony.

The Role:

As the Therapist Supervisor, you will lead the therapist and spa attendant team, promoting AIRE service excellence, encouraging continuous improvement, skill development, and upholding company operational and people standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Departmental Duties:

  • Supervise 12–14 massage therapists and 4 spa attendants per shift to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Lead pre-shift meetings to share updates, motivate the team, and align on daily goals.

  • Manage daily therapist schedules, handle last-minute changes, and track attendance and hours using the tablet system.

  • Conduct walk-throughs of treatment rooms to ensure they are clean, stocked, and ready for guests.

  • Oversee service and break assignments, check time records, and ensure grooming standards are met.

  • Maintain communication with other departments and document key updates and actions in the tablet.

Team Leadership
:

  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support therapist growth and maintain service quality.

  • Hold one-on-one check-ins and help resolve team conflicts when needed.

  • Assist with onboarding and training for new team members to ensure they understand AIRE standards.

Stock
:

  • Monitor treatment room inventory and storage weekly and monthly.

  • Place supply orders and coordinate deliveries to keep products available and organized.

Miscellaneous
:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

  • Collaborate in recruitment processes and conduct technical tests for new candidates.

  • Provide massage services if certified in Toronto to support daily operations.

  • Train and onboard new Therapists on massage services, treatment protocols, and AIRE service standards.

Who are you:

  • You are highly organized and operational, with a strong ability to manage day-to-day activities in a spa or wellness environment.

  • You enjoy scheduling, planning treatments, and making sure everything runs on time and to standard.

  • You have
    at least 1-2 years of direct team leadership experience in spa
    ,
    aesthetics, or wellness operations
     — not just overseeing, but actively managing, motivating, training massage techniques with Therapists and developing your team.

  • You bring a
    minimum of 2-3 years in the wellness, aesthetics, or hospitality industry.

  • You feel confident managing people and taking ownership of the guest and staff experience.

  • Whether you come from a therapy, aesthetics, or spa management background, what sets you apart is your ability to coordinate, solve problems, and lead by example.

  • You are proactive, hands-on, and always ready to step in and support the team when needed.
