Marketing Coordinator

Location: Hybrid

Reports To: Executive Team

Job Type: Contract – 3 months

Wage: $15,000

Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Westmark's brand presence, communications, and marketing initiatives. This three-month contract role requires ensuring that our digital platforms and social media presence accurately represent Westmark's identity, values, and strategic direction. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and passionate about construction industry marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Social Media

  • Maintain and regularly update Westmark's social media platforms with current, relevant, and engaging content.
  • Monitor social media analytics, providing reports and recommendations to improve reach and engagement.

Content & Media Coordination

  • Serve as the liaison between Westmark and photographers/videographers.
  • Schedule and coordinate regular photo and drone shoots aligned with the construction schedule.
  • Research completed projects and Westmark's company history to deepen brand storytelling and consistency.

Events & Trade Shows

  • Design and manage the production of trade show display booths and materials.
  • Coordinate design and purchase of trade show giveaways.
  • Work with the Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) to strengthen Westmark's industry presence and partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of social media management and content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva for design tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and vendors.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand consistency.
