Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transit.
  • Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment for loading and unloading when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
  • Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required for all positions.
  • Experience in commercial driving or delivery services is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activity throughout the day.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations related to driving and material handling.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Pay: From $2,900.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
