Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures
  • Take dental radiographs using Patterson Imaging
  • Manage patient records using dental software--Abeldent
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns throughout their visit
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
  • Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Abeldent is preferable but not required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients of all ages
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable
