Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role based in Vaughan, ON for a Health and Safety Coordinator. The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and overseeing health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and promoting a safe workplace environment. Day to day tasks include conducting workplace inspections, delivering safety training, managing incident investigations, and collaborating with teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
  • Knowledge and experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in Occupational Health and Safety Training procedures and protocols
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to identify and assess workplace hazards effectively
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is an asset
  • Experience with safety management systems and relevant software is a plus
