Duties

  • Apply taping, finishing compounds, and textures to walls and ceilings in accordance with project specifications
  • Perform caulking around windows, doors, and joints to ensure proper sealing and insulation
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming before taping or painting
  • Use hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks
  • Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and painters to ensure seamless project completion
  • Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
  • Assist with minor maintenance person tasks as needed to support overall project progress

Experience

  • Prior experience in construction painting, taping, or finishing preferred
  • Hands-on experience with caulking, drywall finishing, or related trades is highly desirable
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
  • Carpentry or maintenance person experience is a plus for versatile job performance
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.92-$38.75 per hour
